Terms & Conditions

  • Invoices for blocks of lessons, in all instruments and with all tutors, will be e-mailed to parents/guardians prior to the next block starting. Payment for lesson blocks are due before the first lesson of that block. If payment is not received, the tutor may not provide the lessons until the matter is resolved.

  • We ask that a minimum of 24 hours notice is given if a student will be unable to make their timetabled lesson. In this instance your tutor will try, if possible, to re-arrange the lesson to an alternative day/time. If 24 hours or more notice is given the lesson will not be charged for. If less than 24 hours notice is given the lesson will be charged for (Apart from in exceptional/emergency circumstances), this is to protect the tutor's income.

  • If a tutor is unable to teach a lesson due to illness or absence for any reason, this lesson will not be charged for. Your tutor will then be in contact to try, if possible, to rearrange the lesson to a different day/time.

  • If a student is late for their timetabled lesson start time it is unlikely that the time will be able to be made up due to other students scheduled to have lessons, therefore the lesson will be shorter and will finish at the allotted finish time. If you are running late, we do ask, if possible, that you notify your tutor as soon as possible so they are aware. If a tutor is running late for a lesson they will then, if possible, try to either make up the missed time at the end of the allotted session or extend a lesson in the near future.

  • If a student will be discontinuing lessons, we ask that a minimum of 4 weeks notice is given to both TMT and the student’s tutor. This allows time for the tutor to potentially fill the lesson slot with another pupil, therefore protecting the tutor's income.
